I currently stay here going on my second month.the staff had worked with me in a time that they didn't have too. Plus they have been very polite. Its located in the moutains, which are stunning. If your looking for an affordable place to vacation for a few months, stay until you can get on your feet metaphorically speaking, just stop for the night, you might just end up wanting to spend another.....
A very simple quaint spot to live, don’t be fooled by its name because it is more of an apartment than a motel/hotel. A few things does need attention but they are easy enough for the renter to fix unless otherwise. Amada was very nice and ready to help with any questions or concerns, many times she would send one of the workers to check on the problems brought up immediately. Tentea
They say no smoking in the rooms but I smell marijuana and cigarettes coming from other rooms
Good rooms, comfy bed. Comes with stove and mini fridge, some have night stands and a small closet and a table. Ms. Amada is the backbone which makes this place better every day. Not a lot of rift raft. Stay to yourself and mind your own business and it's just fine. If you have any problems, ms. Amada will take care of it. This place is different now that it's being ran by different people. Security cameras every where, and people tend to stay themselves. Police drive by regularly to check around. All in all, it's a good place to stay.
I was there for 4 months, smoke detector beeping the entire time. Never had any major issues. 419 was mine. Now I have it on my license.
For some of us, Underwood Lodge really is home. I love that it is quiet, the front desk staff is kind, and all in all everyone stays to themselves and the rooms are nice. Mine is set up like a small studio apartment. You do have to provide your own tv and other things, but for the most part it is a great place to stay short term. I’m glad places like underwood Lodge still exist. :)
No tv in room. But great place to stay otherwise. Stove top is in the room. I have stayed here multiple times no issues!
The UnderWood Lodge overall has gotten better. It's a good place to stay short-term. Rent is extremely high though $186 a week. Go rent or buy you a home for that price.
